Teeing Up Redemption: Owen Wilson Stars in Apple TV+'s New Golf Comedy Series

Anticipation is building for a new series featuring Owen Wilson on Apple TV+. This follows the announcement of the adaptation of The Murderbot Diaries, set to premiere this May. In addition to that title, Apple is introducing a compelling new series featuring Wilson in a leading role.

The series, titled Stick, revolves around a washed-up former pro golfer who embarks on a mission to mentor a talented 17-year-old golf prodigy after facing numerous life and career setbacks. It promises to deliver a comedic yet uplifting narrative that resonates with the spirit of shows like Ted Lasso and Shrinking, boasting an impressive ensemble cast.
