Codemasters Unveils Debut EA Sports World Rally Championship (WRC)

Following recent speculation, EA and Codemasters have officially announced the forthcoming release of EA Sports WRC. The game will make its debut on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles (excluding PS4 or Xbox One) on November 3rd, 2023, with a short early access period commencing on October 31st, 2023 for those who pre-order it. In addition, pre-orders will receive five VIP Rally Passes for post-launch content.

The next major title in rally video games, EA Sports WRC is built on Unreal Engine and promises advanced realism. The game will feature more comprehensive and elongated stages, 18 official FIA WRC locations, 600 km of varied terrain, 10 current WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC cars, and 68 classic rally vehicles. 

The title will also feature a 32-player cross-platform multiplayer and dynamic 'Moments' events updated daily, giving players a chance to replay crucial WRC scenarios.
