Sigourney Weaver Joins the Star Wars Universe in Upcoming Mandalorian & Grogu Series

Sigourney Weaver has made an exciting announcement regarding her involvement in a prominent sci-fi series. Following her role as Kiri in the sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, she is now slated to join the Star Wars universe.
During a discussion with Deadline, Weaver disclosed that she would be part of the forthcoming project, The Mandalorian & Grogu, which is scheduled for release in 2026. She expressed her enthusiasm, mentioning that she had the opportunity to encounter Grogu for the first time during filming. She noted, "I'm filming that before I go to London for The Tempest at the end of the year... I'm looking forward to it. I can't say much about it right now but it's fun to bounce between all these different universes."
